When we carry out installations, we can ensure the commissioning of the Tenderlift on new or second-hand boats. This process allows us to guarantee the safety and operation of our Tenderlift. The commissioning can be done directly by our team in Canet-en-Roussillon (south of France) or anywhere in the world through our networks of 25 distributors.
Nicolas is the customer service manager at Tenderlift. He also designs the Tenderlift and he is a Wind surfer enthusiast.
Commissioning takes place in 4 steps :
Checking of the items & spare parts
We check with the customer that the products, spare and maintenance parts* have been delivered : spare seal, hydraulic hose, cylinder segment, pistons, all the required stainless steel fittings, cradles pad and cleaning brushes. retouching.
We also ensure that the installation manual has been delivered to the customer so that they can familiarize themselves with its content.

Handover & settings of the lifting device
We verify the optimal functioning of the device, particularly to the tension of the lifting straps and the different pressures of the hydraulic unit when lifting up and bringing down the platform.
We also check the horizontality of the arms and the position of the device at the top stop.
Finally we measure the minimum distances required from the cylinder rod/adjustment of the lifting strap.
Training and safety with the tender
All the result allowing us to keep a track record on the delivered platform settings. They are kept in a certified commissioning sheet. Training is provided to the customer to familiarize him with the use of the emergency hand pump* and the various safety rules related to a lifting device on a boat.
The crew is also trained in the various “backup” systems in the event of a possible breakdown.

Diagnosis & maintenance of the hydraulic system
The last step concerns the diagnosis and maintenance of the platform. This step is established through a form that the customer fills in and sends to our technical department so that we can react quickly in the event of a possible breakdown of the Tenderlift.
Maintenance concerns cleaning of the metal parts of the hydraulic system, the purging and the replacement of seals.
